Trip to State Fair

Saturday we made our annual trip to the Kentucky State Fair. This year we went with our friends, Keith and Lisa as well as following my parents and Makinsi up. We lost Mom and Dad as soon as we went through the gate, but caught up to them once.

The best purchase of the night though had to be the coconut heads that Lisa and I got with Bahama Mama Slushies in them. I was excited to bring this home to add to the Hawaiian decor in my bathroom.
It's now a bank for all of our change and fits in just perfect. We walked through several sections including looking at all the rabbits, chickens, cows and horses. We finally found us a tent with an ok band and hung out for a while. We ended the night with a midway walk where I almost had to take out some teenagers. It was so crowded and I was pushing Brad through the mess. I can't believe how little all those kids had on. Then after a 45 minute walk to the car we were on our way home with a quick stop at White Castle. I'm just glad we dropped Keith off before those hit! Sorry, Lisa!

I got a couple pics of Makinsi playing at one of the booths in the Main St. Kentucky section. I think she looks so grown up in these pictures with Dad aka BopBaw!

How to Torment a Dog...

Bailey goes nuts everytime she sees a light. It can be a reflection from a mirror. The sun coming through the window, whatever! She goes crazy! Keith and Lisa brought a laser pointer over the other night and Keith tormented the dog for most of the night. He got her spinning in circles so fast she almost tripped over herself.

Go, Cubs!

My sweet, little Cubs fan! I swear we had her saying "Go, Cubs" the other night. I tried to video it, but I don't think we got it. I love her hair bows, don't you Teaque?

Precious!
